The Maine Department of Transportation will be posting the culvert carrying the Gardiner Road (Route 126) over the West Branch of the Eastern River in Whitefield to 22 tons.  The posting is likely to occur the during first week of October.

The weight restriction is the result of recent inspection findings.  There is a replacement project underway that is scheduled for construction in 2026.
